213 49 Ks to Sisophon

512-street-side-soupPoipet, the border town is brutally hot and dusty. We cycled on in Cambodia which is also hot and dusty. Sisophon was almost as much a jaw dropper as Poipet.

Tired and hungry we pulled into a sidewalk cafe. Should have taken ahint when we saw dishes being washed in the street. The girl, Rose, was sweet and served a bowl of good, hot soup.

The hotel Neak was bleak. We did have a straddle the toilet to take a luke warm shower. Dinner at the big cafe with added entertainment. Singers, a keyboard and guitar played so loud that we occasionally had to put our fingers in our ears.
