021 A Spattering of Countryside
Rice, Tea & Pineapple
This patch of mixed crops was about as rural as it got as we cycled along Highway 1. This patchwork shares fields of rice, tea and pineapple.

Rarely did we see fields that weren’t living and growing in the shadows of highrise buildings. Well, the field hands and factory workers have got to live and enjoy the fruits of their labor somewhere, right?
