043 A Walk Around Manila

After a taxi ride to the bus station to purchase tickets we found ourselves walking in rain and no taxi’s in sight. At a corner a young man asked where we were going then told us which jeepny to take. He also explained that the ride would cost 7 Pesos each. (Less than 15 cents.) What a treat, we always love taking local transportation. On board a young girl struck up a conversation then told us that she was getting off at our stop. We followed her through the pedestrian underpass and voila, we were back home.
