Calm Seas to Traffric Turmoil

It’s a 45 minute boat ride back to Manila. we spent part of that time talking, comparing and sharing stories with fellow traveler, Kevin from Alameda, CA.  Like us, he enjoys doing the different. He took a Canga around the entire island rather than take the tour. Another treat, our island guide, Hasel was aboard, too. Off duty, his sense of humor continued in high gear and his devotion to guiding extended beyong the shores of Corregidor, too. He rides a bicycle to the boat so he retrieved it and led us back through the snarling traffic to the best area for a hotel. We struggled a bit then found a gem, The Executive Plaza Hotel for our last night inthe Philippines. Nice place and well located near shopping with wine and pizza to go. Life is good.
