Palm Desert Retreat

Kristina initiated contact with us while we were cycling around the world. She’d seen our web-site while they were cycling in Ireland. This couple and their little dog Amber are hard core cyclists. Married at age 18, by age 28 they had two daughters and a small boat. They sailed across the Atlantic, twice. They recently completed their second cycling crossing of the USA with Amber riding along in a trailer.  They’s ridden in Southeast Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand. We spent 3 days with them in January, practicing with panniers.

On Feb 6, 2009 we White Elephanted to Orange County and spent the night with them in Laguna Woods. When we’re together it’s all about cycling adventure. Comparing pictures and stories. It’s tough for most to relate to our crazy lifestyle but the four os us know the joys and hardships of life on the road.
