126 Down, Down, Down the Steep
At the summit two girlsĀ that we’d met at the Hotel pulled up in their rented jeep to say hello. They took these shots for us. It’s rare for us to get cycling footage. We fear that handing our camera to a stranger could result in a footrace. (Always choose someone you feel you can outrun or whip is it comes down to a fight.)
They did a great job. One is a student of the Hindu religion. The other favors Buddhism. Both are Bartenders from Germany.

Yeah, that little “take” came out good! Nice. And it was a pleasure to meet you people!
Hope your trip was as wonderful as it appeared too me at Lake Batur. And we know the hard times while travelling will be the best stories later. Best wishes! Petra, the “hindu-girl”.
So good to hear from you Petra. When we last saw you we wre straining to climb the mountain. What a difference a downhill makes. Thanks for the fine camera work. It looks good and we so rarely find people that we feel confident in handing our cameras to.

PS We cycled from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both are tired and tired of the heat but, we press onward. We’ll take train to Bangkok, Thailand then lotsof cycling, lots of heat fro the next 2 months. You’ve gotta love it to do it.
