Awe the traffic was deadly. Cycling in to any large city is treacherous. Kuala Lumpur is no exception. Cat says we should always just hook a ride. But then, she also says, “The most difficult times make the best memories.”

We spent the morning working our way slowly along the slow lane of the Expressway. The worst is always the on-off ramps. Leaving the road means a drop then climb back up. Staying on the Expressway means dodging exiting and entering vehicles. Heat traffic and stress, deadly combinations.

Taxi drivers became our best resource. They know the way, often have a hard time explaining but asking often is the key. Down town KL is known at “The Golden Triangle”. The Petronas Tower is one of the famous landmarks. An exciting first sighting.
