312 Holy Buddha it’s Stanley & Miriam

As we ambled beneath Big Buddha and toward the cable cars a voice rang out, “Hey Pat & Cat.” Holy Buddha it was Stanley and Miriam, the couple from Vancouver, Canada that we met on the tour of the CuChi tunnels near Ho Chi Min City almost 3 weeks ago. Fate? Kismet? Enlightened Comradeship?

What ever, we enjoyed a brief chat then they hurried off to climb the stairway to Buddha before closing time. Our desire to get together later didn’t work. They are packing and on a plane headed home tonight.
