131 Into the Lap of Luxury

As you see, I was so happy to be spending the night at The Monsoon that I hugged the big gecko on the steps. Cat, as usual, is nervous about overspending but we are both looking forward to a good meal, a bottle of wine and a cool and comphy bed. The Monsoon has it all. 

Chris and Kate had insisted that we must go snorkeling. They say that this is the best palce in the world. We signed up for a boat and guide in the morning then slipped into the swimming pool just outside our door then sat for a while in the Spa and soaked our tired bodies.

Clean Sheets, Mosquito Net

Dinner was a treat and we chose a bottle of red wine. The restaurant is a unique building fo 4 levels. Dinner was served on 2nd floor. A lot of running up and down for the staff but wonderful sitting above the tree tops as the sun set.

There are few guests but that’s not surprising since they have only 9 Gazebos and 14 rooms here at The Monsoon. We did meet a couple of guys that have just been hired to promote the place.
