Morning Fog

Morning Fog

No Air Con needed, it was cold and hard to breath due to altitude. (About 8,000 feet.) We took a walk as dusk set in. We’ve pretty much decided to only spend tonight as we’re both affected by the cold and our colds.

As we walked we ran into a couple of horsemen. They wanted to meet us in the morning and take us on horseback down into the caldera. We gave them a wary maybe.

There is a little museum with interesting trivia and pictures. Darkness of the evening was enhanced by the clouds hanging round the mountain top.

Back at Lava View, we met a family, Charles, Liz, Felein and Lauren. They’re on holiday from Jakarta. From Holland, he works with Nokia-Seimens and she’s a Doctor with the USAID on an AIDS program. The girls attend British School and though they’re from Holland and all speak Dutch they usually converse in English which is very good for us. Like many in the world, they all speak several languages.
