211 Cambodia, Like Being in an Old Movie

May 5, 2009. Passing through Thailand Immigration was fast, a couple of stamps and out the door. Then came the shock. People, rag tag people pulling, pushing or steering overloaded makeshift carts. They must not allow trucks or animals into Thailand?

First stop, a Health Check, questions about where we have traveled in the past 2 weeks. (Swine Flu) Then Immigration where they told us the cost of the Visa was 1000 Baht. (Yes they prefer Thai money to their own?) Cat argued and unbelievably, the Officer agreed to take 800.  Then the line, a couple of stamps in our passports and we were thrust into the teaming mess. Cat said, “This is like being on the set of an old movie!”
