024 Luck of the Spiritulists

Bad Luck to Good
Feb. 16, 2009 With all this spirituality around you’d think luck would be abundant. It was but for the time, all bad. I was having bike trouble. Every time we stopped my chain would slip. We were stuck in a small place and ended up in our second Love Hotel. (Moer about that later!) In desperation we e-mailed Brad, the guy who set up our bikes in 2002. He’s since moved to Taiwan. Fearing darkness we changed course and headed inland on Highway 12 to Taichung, found a nice little hotel and called him. He suggested breakfast.

Just heard you were on the road again. What a journey. Good for you! (And for everyone who gets to vicariously travel along.)
