Sisters Serve Good Food

Cat spotted a window sign and called out, “Food!”

We leaned the bikes out of the rain and chose food we now knew, Mie Gorang, noodles with meat. It has become our staple. These too women, sisters we think, were so kind and worked hard to satisfy.

As we ate the men of the village began to walk apst after afternoon prayer. They were quite curious, many stopped and stared. WE wold wave and they never failed to smile and wave back.
