303 Two Shrines in the Temple

This is definitely a thought provoking place. It brings to us an understanding that there was a civilization flourishing here for more than 1000 years. The strong Chinese influence also reminds us of something Dr. Ted said, “When the Vietnamese speak of foreign invaders they’re talking about China not the French or Americans. China controlled Vietnam for more than 800 years!”

Our Friend Richard said that the Temple of Literature/Temple of Learning was a must see in Hanoi. He was so right!
