With map in hand and directions from the hotel staff we emerged from Hotel Impiana confused. When in doubt ask a Taxi Driver. The driver, Othman, tried to explain then said, “You follow, I go near the KL Old Train Station.”

We followed, he would spurt ahead then slow with his emergency flashers on or pull over and wait. He waive to us and pointed toward a turn. We thought he was leaving us but no, he turned and led us directly to the Station. What a kind and wonderful guy. In front of the station Cat offered to pay him. He shook his head, “No, I go this way, so no problem.” Isn’t it terrific how a new friend will just take you under their wing and help you find your way?
