The Orchid Hotel is on the outskirts of BSB adjacent to the sports fields. They do run a morning and afternoon shuttle into town with pickup 3 hours later. We took the morning car.

We were amazed by the small amount of traffic on the streets. Once in town, as Paul Simon once said, we were greeted by the sounds of silence.

On a corner near the Mosque we met two gals who, like us, looked like tourists. Surprise, they live here and work for the British Royal Navy. As we asked directions a local looking guy sidled up. The women smiled to him then said, “This guy can tell you where to find everything in town.
