078 Skeletal Remains on Corregidor
There are several skeletal remains of the old barracks buildings on the island. They stand crumbling and being reclaimed by Mother Nature. You can see the way the trees wrapped around the posts and the stairways have fallen down. The scene makes one wander how many tormented souls haunt this place. Those that survived were loaded onto what became known as “Hell Ships” and bound to Japan or Manchuria and into forced labor. Who was that Pirate that said, “Arrgh, them what died was the lucky ones?”
