296 The Hanoi Hop

 Ted arranged a ride to the airport with his medical connections. A very smooth hour and ten minute flight then we shared a Taxi to the “Old Quarter”. Ted was already booked, the staff was great. They found room for us, too.

We loved the area. Tree lined streets and narrow winding lanes. A mix of residential, restaurants, shops and stores. Everything within walking distance. And we did walk, on an almost fruitless wine quest that turned up a high priced Chardonnay.
