241 Three Irish Cyclists

Finding the way into Svay Rieng isn’t easy. We’d heard that there are several hotels however, we found that the town lies off the highway and the one and only hotel is $10 US and another minimal experience. The best of it was Ben walking in as we ordered dinner.He and two friends, Oein and Tommy are rough cycling. They often sleep in hammocks hung between trees. They’re staying in the $5 US Guest House next door. We had fun comparing stories. They’re roughing it like only the young can.

All three guys came for breakfast. They’re heading across into Vietnam then north through the rural western edge. Real pioneers.
