033 Training, Thanks to Kevin!

ambassador-guys-rThe 5 Star treatment continued even as we prepared to leave. The guys gathered around for this photo after loading our bus. Yes, we’re in a 20 passenger bus, again. They worry so much about having space for the bikes that they wouldn’t use a regular van. Then Kevin (second from left) insisted on accompanying us to the railroad station. It was a very good thing that we had him. The process was arduous and language would have been a HUGE barrier. Kevin has promised to visit us in CA, someday.

Bro, we’re in Baguio, a mountain town. Took an all night bus to get here. Schelped the bags and bikes. Sleepless night. There is a flower festival going on here so, no rooms until after late checkout. Great parade almost like Rose Parade. Our plan is to cycle down from this mountain (Baguio is over 5,200 feet) then down the west coast along the BAtaan Death March route cruise through Subic then down to Corregidor. STAY TUNED!!
