288 What Goes Up, Must Come Down

Steep is good, even Cat agrees, when it’s steep and down. As slow as the assent was, the desent made up for lost time. We had to stop  every 2 ks to let the brakes and rims cool down. And scenic, the small town of Lang Co shone in the mid day sun like a jewel at the bottom of the hill.

Traffic was light and we were making great time.

Rounding a corner we ran head on, figuratively, into an untended herd of goats.The view beyond Lang Co was miles of white sand beaches.
