060 The Mountains to Morong

Drying the Rice

Motorists and cyclists, like we two, know the importance of rice here and patiently work their way around rather than risking ruin by driving over it. Our ride today was an up, up, up and over then down onto this sea level plain. We searched for a hotel based upon the map Nida provided. Passing Morong, we rode 3 Ks only to find that one hotel was terrible and the other fully booked by a MetroBank group. So, back to town and to White Coral Resort. We hate to have to backtrack. Hot and tired we wound our way through the streets of the classic looking village, Morong to the beach.
