Our final day in Baguio was spent walking from one end to the other. We did take a Jeepny ride up the mountain. There at the Botanical Gardens we were met by a group of Indigenous Philippinos called Tam-Awans or The Ancient People. We got the camera out and there was a breif discussion then a woman said, “You take photo please pay person 10 Pesos.” Cat wanted a shot of me with them, all. So, they posed, talked a strange language to me and petted my hairy arms and legs. What nice people, and what a bargain. We paid them 150 Pesos (About $3 US) which seemed to make them very happy. Later se stopped at McDonald’s and got this shot of a Tam-Awan woman slurping up a coke.
