295 Dinner With Dr. Theodore

Ted is a Medical Doctor, a Urologist from Colorado. Just as he completed Med School in the 70s the US Army drafted him. His time, during that time, spent in Vietnam, seems to have been an epiphany for him.

He’s here on behalf of one of his 3 NGOs. A program that allows exchanging Urology students from Vietnam and the US. Ted knows so many details about the Vietnam War and Vietnam in general. A lot of the details of the TET Offensive and politics before and after the war came to our ears from his lips.

As we talked he suggested that we could share his ride to the Airport tomorrow. We even decided that rather than spend a day shopping for a hotel we would just book where he was staying in Hanoi. Even share the ride there, too.
