034 James from San Jose
The Train to Taipei was a 4 1/2 hour uneventful ride save the cool to cold AC that sometimes fetl like it would begin blowing snow.
Speaking of trains, on our first day in Taipei while riding the MRT (Subway) a guy heard us talking and asked where we were from. James, who was born in Taiwan now lives in San Jose, CA. He owns an electronics firm, SandioTech. We maintained contact via e-mail and re-connected for a great meal and evening in Taipei. Had it now been for that happen chance meeting we would have missed a fantastic Peking Duck dinner. Then after dinner we took a walk through one of Taipei’s famous night markets. Two experiences that we owe to him. Thank you James!
