097 Tutong and the Halin Plaza

Sticking with the expressway we made good time, arriving at the turn off to Tutong by 1:00 PM. Lost, we went about 3 Ks in the wrong direction. That made total mileage about 60 Ks. Not bad for a first day’s ride.
Danny had told us that there was a simple hotel in Tutong. We stopped for a soft drink and the clerk pointed to a very impressive building in response to our query, “Hotel?”
Actually the Hotel only occupies floors 6 & 7. The room was adequate but the bed was hard as concrete.
