Breakfast is served in the rooftop restaurant. We can see the confluence of the Tonle and Mekong Rivers. Off the back we see a thriving street market filled with stalls of food and other bargains. Not just a weekend thing, these streets are home to this varied market daily.

While at breakfast we met Manny & Jeannine from Florida. He’s with a NGO that concentrates on saving the animals native to Cambodia. He retired as a Game Warden but boredom sent him back to the workplace. Jeaninne is along for the ride.

We planned on dinner then he too was struck down by the stomach. Beyond queasy, he too has to stay close to a toilet.
